Donut Bouquets QC (Everything You've Wanted to Know)

As a new, unique business in the Quad Cities, IL, we have had constant questions about a variety of different topics. Which is why I thought a blog would be an awesome way to start sharing more details about Donut Bouquets QC on a more personal level.

Let me start by saying starting Donut Bouquets QC has been an awesome experience. Thanks to you! All of our customers and supporters have been amazing and we couldn't have started this without any of you.

Second things second, we want to post on here about what you all want to see. So don't be afraid to comment/contact us and let us know what topics you want to read about! This blog is not going to be strictly about one topic. I plan on writing about our donuts, style, health, and everything in between.

So let's answer some questions for you all! Starting with the number one question we receive:

1. How did you decide to start Donut Bouquets QC?

While we have a short summary of this answer in our "About" page on our website, there is so much more that went behind the decisions and making of this business. Buttttt I won't bore you with the details.. I'll make this short and sweet. Basically, I saw this kick ass donut bouquet going viral on Twitter and right away I wanted to order one. After doing some hardcore research I couldn't find anything in the US that sold donut bouquets regularly. While doing all this research and drooling over the thought of a donut bouquet, I was thinking "of course the Quad Cities doesn't have anything like this, we never get cool food ideas like that." And bam, from there on Donut Bouquets QC was in the making. New York, Chicago, Cali... they all get awesome food options, why can't the Quad Cities?! So we decided that a cute, unique, and reasonably priced product like donut bouquets would be a hit. And now you have Donut Bouquets QC at your service.

2. Do you have a physical location?

No, unfortunately we do not. Donut Bouquets QC is an online business only. Through having it online only we we were able to save more money for our product themselves and really focus on what we had in mind for the donut bouquets. While having a store would be awesomeee, having our business strictly online has had many benefits.

(Although if we did have a physical store it would be the cutest shop ever.. imaging it in my head right now.)

3. Are you going to add more bouquet options?

Yes x 100. We thought that starting off with 5 options was a good number since we didn't know how people were going to respond to the business. Since we have had a ton of supporters so far we have already created a new bouquet, the S'mores Donut Bouquet (check it out here). We have a long list of a ton of different bouquets that we plan on creating! I really want to get into other events too, such as baby showers, birthday parties, weddings, etc. I think that would be so cool.

4. Has it been successful so far?

If success is measured by how many times you have to wake up at 5am to start making bouquets, then YES we have been very successful (*types as I nod off at my desk*). But actually, just being able to allow someone to gift something unique as a donut bouquet has been rewarding as it gets.
